35 Years in the Industry. Built for This.
DataDriven Compliance Partners LLC is led by Cherie Broadrick — a compliance professional who helped design the very program NERC uses to monitor compliance across North America. That depth of experience is what your compliance program runs on.
Cherie Broadrick
Principal, DataDriven Compliance Partners LLC
Cherie Broadrick brings over 35 years of experience in the electric and natural gas industries, with deep specializations in NERC compliance, FERC regulatory affairs, risk management, and compliance program development. She has worked at every level of the compliance ecosystem — from designing the federal program that governs NERC compliance monitoring across North America, to building compliance programs from scratch for major utilities, to leading audits with no findings.
Before founding DataDriven Compliance Partners LLC, Cherie served as NERC Compliance Lead/Regional Compliance Manager at Duke Energy, where she led NERC audits of Operations and Planning standards for Duke Energy Transmission and Duke Regulated and Renewable Energy (generator) — achieving no findings each year — and developed the core compliance program that became the foundation for Duke Energy Corporate Compliance, Transmission, and Generation.
Prior to Duke Energy, Cherie served as Manager of Regional Compliance Program Oversight at NERC, where she designed and implemented the Compliance section of the first federally approved Compliance Monitoring and Enforcement Program (CMEP) — the program still used by NERC across North America today. She was a key contributor of the Compliance section of the Rules of Procedure for NERC and oversaw the compliance programs of the (then) eight Regional Entities spanning North America.
Earlier in her career, Cherie led the start-up of retail choice for ERCOT, managed a $6 million program with a staff of twenty-two, and represented companies before the Public Utility Commission of Texas and other high-profile regulatory venues. She holds an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and a BBA in Business from Sam Houston State University.
